Yet, Another Chibok Girl Rescued

Barely 24 hours after troops of the 26 Task Force Brigade on a regular patrol tour around Ngoshe rescued one Mrs Mary Ngoshe, one of the hundreds of young girls adopted from the Government Girls Senior Secondary School, GGSS, Chibok in 2014, the Army announced on Thursday that it has rescued another young lady believed to be abducted from the same school.

In a statement made available to newsmen, the Army said the young woman, identified as Hauwa Joseph, was also rescued with a child suspected to be hers.

“The intercepted Chibok girl and her baby are currently in a military medical facility”, the statement read in part.

Mrs Joseph, was found during clearance operations in the North-East.
