Anambra Nov 6 Poll: Electorates Have Challenged Soludo, APGA-Media Chieftain

A well known media executive and Managing Director/Chief Executive of the Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS), Dr. Uche Nworah, has described Prof Chukwuma Soludo, the winner of the just concluded Nov 6 Governorship Election in Anambra State, triumphed to enable him replicate his successes at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) when he mounts the saddle March 17, 2022.

He said the Soludo’s victory was a mandate given by God to attract foreign investors to developed not only Anambra, but the entire Igbo Nation.

Dr. Nworah, commended the Anambra electorates on the peaceful conduct of the process, especially the massive voting of the 61-year-old international economist into power by the people of the state because, they hope and believe that he will perform exceedingly well.

He noted that the governor-elect, Prof. Soludo and his deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, are billed by APGA family, to governed the state for eight years.

Soludo won the Nov 6,2021 governorship election with 112,229 votes to defeat the candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Valentine Ozigbo, to the second position with 53,807 votes and Sen Andy Uba, of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to third position with 43,285 votes.

While congratulating him, the APGA Chieftain, said, “This is a victory for democracy, not only for APGA but for all Nigerians because INEC has set a pace for the forthcoming Ekiti 2022 governorship election and beyond.

He explained that the BVAS despite the initial hiccups was able to deliver a free and transparent election. That is most important. We are a nation that is on the move to greatness. So, we keep experimenting. The BVAS experiment was worth the while and we are very happy and satisfactory that our efforts paid off eventually.”
