Another Nigerian Lands US Top Job


*As Biden Appoints Enoh Titilayo Ebong Director, US Trade and Development Agency


PENDING the confirmation of the United States’ Congress, another Nigerian-American, Eno Titilayo Ebong, is on her way to landing another top job in the President Joe Biden administration.

According to reports, Ebong has been appointed as Director, US Trade and Development Agency, USTDA.


The indication of her appointment is contained in a brief containing names of nominees already before the Congress.


Prior to joining the USTDA, Ebong was a Boston-based lawyer, representing both private and public firms. However, President Biden appointed her as Chief Operating Officer of the USTDA, a position in which she has served in an acting capacity until now.


Ebong is said to have “earned her JD” from the University of Michigan Law School, a Master of Arts in Communication from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Arts in History, with honours, from The University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
