*Party Chieftain Urges Massive Voting Support for Ozigbo

THE Supreme Court in Abuja today affirmed Chief Valentine Ozigbo, of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as the authentic governorship candidate of the party for the fast approaching November 6, 2021 election.
The apex court, had this morning, Thursday, October 21, 2021 dismissed all the challenges to PDP candidate, describing his challenger, Senator Ugochukwu Uba as a “meddlesome interloper”.
A cost of five million Naira (N5m) was also awarded against Senator Uba.
While delivering its verdict, the Supreme Court’s panel led by Justice Inyang Okoro affirmed the decision of the Court of Appeal Awka Division of September 3, 2021, which had declared Ozigbo as the authentic governorship candidate of the PDP.
A team of party faithful led personally by Ozigbo was present at the Court to hear and witness the verdict.
Also in the Court was the former Governor of Anambra, Mr Peter Obi, and the Senate Minority Leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe.
When contacted, a chieftain of the party, Chief Sam Ikefuna commended the verdict as a welcome development that would now avail the candidate full concentration to focus on the final leg of his statewide campaign tours.
He said he has no doubt that Ozigbo would sweep the stakes come Nov 6, and urged the electorate in the state to vote massively for him so as to return the state to a sound footing
