CHAIRMAN/Chief Executive Officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Brig. Gen. Buba Marwa, retd., has stated that drug traffickers now consult with native doctors with a view to escaping the detection of eagle eyes operatives of the agency.
The NDLEA boss disclosed this on Thursday during the ministerial briefing organised by the Presidential Communications team at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
According to him, drug traffickers have resorted to consulting diabolic powers for “lucky days” to move drugs without detection, assuring however that by December, NDLEA would have dealt “serious blow” on particularly the Cannabis racket in Nigeria.
He also informed the gathering that he has signed various partnerships with local and foreign players in order to curtail the flow of illicit drugs and substances.
