Hazel Oyeye Onou, better known as White Money, has emerged winner of the edition of the reality show, Big Brother Naija. The 22 year-old Enugu borne who describes himself as a hustler but deals on imported designer shoes emerged winner early Sunday night leaving the other popular candidate, Liquorose as runner.
With the victory in the “Shine Ya Eye version,” White Money will pocket a princely N90m alongside a multi million Naira four wheel drive. However, he is also a pride winner of N1m which he won during the Journey Walker contest and another N500,000 during the BuyPower contest.
Shortly before the grand prize winner was announced, Big Brother evicted four contestants-Emmanuel, Angel, Cross, and Pere-leaving Whitemoney and Liquorose to vie for the multi million diadem.
White Money, who said he also fixed generators and did commercial photography as part of his hustle insists he had to leverage to, as he put it, ‘sell my market’, a reason for which enthusiasts of the reality show see him as a ‘typical Igbo man’ and an astute businessman.
