*Still Hold 31 Others

Kaduna bandits have released another batch of Bethel Baptist High School students held in captivity since they were forcefully abducted from the school on Monday, July 5, 2021. The released students are part of the over 100 that were taken from the school situated along the Kaduna-Kachia highway, Chikun council area of Kaduna state.
Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Kaduna state chapter, Rev Josephh Hayab, made the disclosure on Friday evening. According to him, 31 more are still being held by their abductors.
“Yes, 32 of them were freed this evening. They still hold back 31. So, we are trusting God as He has been doing to help us with the remaining 31 if them still on the captivity”, Rev Hayab prayed.
It would be recalled that their abductors set 28 of the students free on Sunday July 25 after allegedly receiving a N50 million ransom. They were also said to have made a fresh N90m rensom demand in order to release the rest students in captivity.
