For the second time in as many weeks, Borno state governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, has welcomed another Chibok School abductee, Hassana Adamu, who like the previous one, also has two children. This was disclosed to newsmen in a statement signed by the governor’s spokesperson, Isah Gusau.
In the statement, Gasau disclosed that Hassana, now a mother, presented herself and her two children to the Nigerian Army, whose task force Brigade Commander, Colonel DR Dantani, later handed her over to the governor in Gworza after being processed.
Hassana is one of over 200 schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram militias at a Government Secondary School, Chibok, on April 14, 2014.
Just two weeks ago, one other Chibok school abducted, Ruth Ngladar Pogu and a man said to be her husband, presented themselves to the Nigerian Army in Bama. She has since been reunited with her family.
