Aso Villa Shoot Out: First Lady, AFC, Others To Face Panel

There are indications that the shooting at the Presidential Villa involving the First Lady’s Aide-de-Camp, Usman Shugaba, and her other security attaches will be the focus of attention within the police management team billed to meet Monday (today). That is, if reports making the round that plans have been concluded to bring the First Lady’s security team before a panel set up for the purpose is anything to go by. According to the reports, leadership of the police constituted the panel given the severity of the incident.
2n-Network can report that following preliminary investigations, the affected security personnel are not likely to be restored to the President’s wife given their complicity in the fiasco with a nephew and personal assistant of the President, Sabiu Yusuf, aka, Tunde, on Thursday, at the Presidential Villa.
Aso Rock sources disclosed that trouble began Thursday night following the decision of the First Lady’s decision, three of her children, Yusuf, Zahra and Halima, alongside some of her security aides, led by Shugaba, to storm the residence of Yusuf situated at house 8, by the Pilot Gate of the Presidential Villa, insisting that the President’s nephew and personal aide, who returned from Lagos on a visit to his wife who had recently put to bed, should proceed on a 24 day self-isolation. The move according to insiders, is aimed at saving the President and his immediate family from the danger of the ravaging, highly contagious Corona virus also known as COVID-19.
2n-Network gathered that the ensuing altercation quickly got out of control following the release of a volley of gun shots by the First Lady’s ADC, while attempting to arrest a visibly shaken at the latter’s residence following which he bolted and took refuge in the nearby house of his uncle, Mamman Daura, another of the President’s nephews.
Following the development, a security report was formally sent to Police Inspector-General, who subsequently ordered the ADC’s arrest alongside his other security colleagues who accompanied her to invade Yusuf at his residence.
